Job Description
Responsible for managing the procurement process for engineering projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other relevant teams to understand project requirements and procurement needs.
Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and project plans to identify required materials, equipment, and services.
Identify potential suppliers/vendors capable of meeting project requirements.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, including quality standards, production capacity, and delivery capabilities.
Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
Develop procurement strategies and plans based on project timelines, budget constraints, and quality requirements.
Determine appropriate procurement methods (e.g., RFQ, RFP, tendering) and selection criteria for supplier evaluation.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Prepare and review procurement contracts, purchase orders, and other documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Monitor supplier performance and address any deviations from contract terms or quality standards.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and efficiency.
Manage procurement budgets and expenditures to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering, negotiation, and alternative sourcing strateg
Ensure that procured materials, equipment, and services meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with quality assurance/quality control teams to conduct inspections and quality assessments as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
