WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:
Develops the operating teams' technical understanding and mastery of process control within the assigned Cells. Leads the development and implementation of a technical project geared toward parameters improvement within his Cell in order to achieve higher productivity. Leads the root cause analysis and drives the action plan whilst tracking the results to confirm effectiveness.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Centerline and changeover DMS owner participates and contributes to in-line DDS on process-related aspects; Controls the results to confirm the effectiveness of identified actions
Eliminates losses and root cause problem solving on assigned Cell
Together with the rest of the Cell Team develops 24-hour action plans, sets the priority of the team, and allocates resources to support the plan
Responsible for controlling the use of the SAP / EAM system and carrying out activities at the right time
Coaches operating teams in technical aspects of equipment, to achieve the operational objectives of assigned Cell
Collaborates well with Cell Lead and Maintenance Lead to balance resources in order to achieve Make Pack department operational goals as well as building high performing team by providing the necessary training.
Guide the professional development of the management team reporting directly to the incumbent. Ensure the consistent availability of human resources with adequate skill levels. Training and development of employees.
Perform any other tasks given by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructions
Understand the health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.
Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.
Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, the report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor, and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Technical, engineering, mechanical, and electrical education
Knowledge of technical and technological issues.
3+ years of professional experience in a similar position.
English language for effective verbal and written communication;
PC literacy (MS Office). Knowledge of production technologies, standards of factory improvement programs, Lean Manufacturing (KAIZEN, TPM, TQP, JIT), ISO/EHS. Knowledge of IWS principles and routine
