Job Description
Optimize cost and quality of product
Optimize layout of factory, including equipment placement and material flows
Optimize efficiency and productivity of manufacturing operations
Monitor and ensure quality of product
Suggest continuous improvements to assembly process
Suggest continuous improvements to material selection and specification
Work with suppliers to monitor and ensure material quality
Assist with packaging design and logistics to improve outgoing product quality
Perform risk assessments
Write work instructions and process documents
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards and industry best practices
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated, highly organized and very detail-oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Good math skills for troubleshooting, analysis and design
Solid inter-personal skills
At least 1yr experience in a similar role
Lean Six Sigma training is a definite plus
Proficient with Windows and MS Office. Experience with CAD is a plus.
