Description
•Monitor and improve efficiency of operating parameters
•Create weekly work calendar and 90-day plan
•Discuss daily parameter issues with Team Leaders, Engineers, Coordinators, and Superintendents
•Prepare, submit, and discuss process performance review daily, weekly, and monthly
•Prioritize and investigate recurring issues
•Conduct risk assessments, trials, and improvement planning
•Conduct audit for system effectiveness and provide feedback
•Assist in area projects and coordinate action plans
•Provide support for IMS to Process Engineers on Quality, Safety, Environment, and Hygiene requirements
•Participate in design, operational readiness and commissioning of process-related capital expenditure projects or non-CAPEX
•Monitor and provide controls to achieve the specific unit consumption within budget
•Provide input to Senior process, Process Technicians, and Superintendent in developing efficient operating strategies for process area
•Coordinate issues that need escalation with Senior Engineer
Perform other job-related tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering, must be licensed
•At least 2 years experience in heavy industry setting
•Technical knowledge on Pyrometallurgy, Electrometallurgy, and Hydrometallurgy operation
•Knowledge in financial analysis, delivery estimation, project scoring, and prioritization
•Knowledge in Statistical Analysis and presentation (Data Management (PI), Power BI, DOE, Anova, Multivariate Analysis)
•Proficient knowledge in MS Excel
•Technical knowledge on compressed air system, energy, fuel, water, and steam
