Our Role
We are recruiting a Process Engineer to lead our highly skilled trades people at our Rio Tuba plant. Reporting to the Production Assistant Manager, this role is responsible for performing production related duties on a professional level and works closely with production assistant manager as well as other support groups of the operations, particularly with the maintenance group. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: leading, planning, delegating, controlling and cost awareness:
Monitoring of process in RMH, KILN 1&2, MOL 1&2, PETCOKE to ensure production target output are met.
Ensure all production parameters, SOPs, work instruction and checklists are properly implemented and understood by the operators.
Attend and participate in the daily morning operations / tool box meetings, safety, production and other appropriate meetings.
Ensure all safety practices and housekeeping are being done religiously.
Compliance to Integrated Management System Policy.
Perform the action plans related to their respective activities to meet the Quality, OSH and Environmental Objectives, Targets, and Programs.
Report all operational problems such as manpower, equipment, material, safety matter, emergency or any other related plant stoppages.
The successful candidate will have a qualification of an Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment or a quarry is highly desirable. A strong knowledge of quality, engineering standards and government regulations.
