Our Fluor office in Manila, Philippines is looking for an enthusiastic team member with a cando
attitude that supplements our growing process team.
What we are currently looking for is a Process Engineer III. This position provides technical
knowledge on projects and perform Process Technology assignments of intermediate to moderate
complexity.
Typical job duties and responsibilities are:
. Perform process engineering assignments such as creating Mass Balances, PFDs (Process
Flow Diagrams), and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
. Perform pump hydraulics, line sizing, equipment sizing, calculating heat duty, specifying
pressure safety devices, instrument sizing, flare header sizing
. Prepare documents such as Process Design Basis, Utility Summary, Emission Summary,
Catalyst/Chemical Summary
. Review and check work of others to assure overall quality of process designs
. Participate in P&ID and safety reviews
. Participate in bid tab evaluations for equipment check vendor data for equipment
. Get familiar with and apply Fluor's practices and procedures.
. Understand and follow the efforthours budget and process schedule
. Perform process and economic studies for more complex systems
. Contact and consult with other engineering disciplines within Fluor in addition to process
engineers and supervisors
. Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
. Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and ten (10)
years of workrelated experience a recognized professional certification or registration in the
applicable field
. BS or MS Degree in Chemical Engineering
. Experience creating P&IDs, PFDs and mass balances
. Experience with pump hydraulics for more advanced systems
. Experience with Pressure Safety Devices scenario analysis and load calculations
. Experience with control valve sizing
. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with audiences that include
management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
. Job related technical knowledge in our industries necessary to complete the job
. Apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and
guidelines
. Apply knowledge of applicable industry guidelines and regulations
. Advanced experience with Microsoft tools Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
. Attend to detail and work in a timeconscious and timeeffective manner
Preferred Qualifications
. Experience with an EPC company in a process engineering role
. Experience in Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Refinery, LNG, Offshore, Utilities and Offsites
. Familiarity with process simulator tools such as Aspen, Hysys, Unisim
. Familiarity with a hydraulic sizing program such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow
. Active chemical engineering license in the Philippines
