The Process Performance Engineer conducts engineering studies and research on cement technology, project evaluation/ implementation, and monitoring of all cement manufacturing processes, systems, equipment, and facilities to enhance efficiency and continually optimize process line capability by minimizing if not eliminating recurring equipment problems beyond normal operations capability.
Responsibilities:
Conducts periodic process equipment performance audit and formulate measures to optimize and enhance kiln and mill process equipment performance.
Ensures implementation of organizational programs/ directives and SOPs to optimize process, kiln and mill efficiency and capability.
Conducts feasibility studies & cost-benefit analysis for process improvement and implements approved process optimization programs in conformance to plant's specification, schedule, engineering standards, government/ environment/ safety regulations.
Ensures data validation in TIS of the production, process and maintenance.
Continuously embarks on improvement efforts in operating the plant facilities.
Complies with Health & Safety Rules and Expectations and Environmental Rules and Regulations.
Requirements:
Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics Communication, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
Must be a Licensed Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Communication Engineer.
Must have at least five (5) years work experience in cement manufacturing process/ operations.
Preferably knowledgeable in Technical Information System (TIS), process measurement and assessment activity, and process measurement equipment.
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications and SAP.
