The position will be responsible for delivering an API driven self service automation pipeline that calls Ansible Playbooks and Terraform Modules. This pipeline will be leveraged by the IaaS product team. We are looking for an engineer to join our team to help modernize traditional processes and deliver a pipeline that integrates with different enterprise tools to enable a one stop shop for reusable automation. You also will be responsible for creating epics and stories in the backlog for engineering feature teams to execute on and work on developing mockups and customer journeys. In this position, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy for Wells Fargo. In this role, you will: Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership Drive the Infrastructure as Code strategy for the enterprise Deliver an API driven automation pipeline that provides technology teams a simple solution for automating manual and redundant tasks Transform how infrastructure is consumed and provided to customers today Required Qualifications, US: 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 7+ years of systems analysis experience, systems programming experience or combination of both 5+ years of CI/CD experience using tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, GitLab, etc. 5+ years of infrastructure experience or software development experience 5+ years of experience using automated testing pipelines that create and destroy infrastructure on as needed basis 5+ years experience working with public cloud providers 5+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Lead Hands on experience and highly skilled in Terraform and Ansible Experience building CI/CD pipelines and experience working with a GitOps pipeline Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, BitBucket, Artifactory, and Nexus Relationship management experience with organizational partners and customers Desired Qualifications: Experiencing working with Microsoft (Azure) and Google (GCP) cloud providers Experience working with ServiceNow Experience in managing IT infrastructure for a medium-to-large organization Experience with VMware realize Automation Experience with HashiCorp Sentinel and writing sentinel policies Job Expectations: Execute on the Infrastructure as Code initiative for the cloud strategy for the enterprise Designing and driving the consumption model of Terraform and Ansible Delivering a self-service automation pipeline with reusable content for infrastructure and application teams Working on designing and strategizing next generation CI/CD pipelines Creating epics and stories for engineering teams Working closely with different technology partners and executives to understand use cases and requirements in addition to modernizing current processes between different technology partners.
