Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implement production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project based activities
Analyze the operation process to isolate inefficient steps or procedures and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of manufacturing
Coordinate scheduled equipment maintenance routinely to decrease downtime
Resolve issues and delays in production
Gather data on operations and organize it into a useful report; present your findings and making suggestions for continuous improvement for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings
Collaborate with other engineers, contractors and suppliers
Upgrade systems and processes with new technology
Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance
Train staff in new and existing processes
