GGS Technical Information Services is experiencing growth in our Cebu, Philippines facility and we are looking for qualified Prepress Illustrators for our Packaging group.  This position has the primary responsibility of preparing new and revised packaging and labels for customer products by using various software programs.  We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to service and are ready to grow with us in Cebu.
 
Primary Duties & Functions:
Create artwork that will be used on packaging and/or product labels
Prepare layouts from supplied information
Adobe Illustrator CC - render artwork, create packaging and label layouts
Adobe Photoshop CC - cloning, silhouetting, color correcting, working in layers, cropping and resizing
Job Specifications:
Candidate must possess at least four (4) years bachelor's degree in college.
Must have at least two (2) years of work experiences.
Must have an understanding of color separation.
Having some type of graphic arts and/or design background would be beneficial.
Having an understanding of the printing industry is recommended
Must have the ability to communicate effectively (both in written and oral format) due to frequent contact with employees within the facility to consult with on work and/or during the quality assurance review
Must be proficient with a personal computer and various software including desktop publishing, spreadsheet, word processing, illustration, and database programs.
Experience in Printing Press is Advantage  
Must have a High knowledge in CMYK process and Pantone colors
Knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe Photoshop CC
Must have a good skills in Silhouette, Cloning/Air Brushing, Can Create Vector Arts and Trapping
