Developers in this role get to: Be the Expert: build the Data Visualization layer for our platform. Design & develop high performance and low-latency applications. Good knowledge and experience in SQL, Database Management, and data modelling. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Write well designed, testable, efficient code. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Keep Up to Date: support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Qualifications: Our most successful candidates will have: Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Proven Software Development experience of > 2 Years in designing and developing Business Intelligence applications Building Analysis Services reporting models Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports Ability to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI Proficiency in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements Ability to retrieve Data from Databases. SSRS developers optimize SQL server queries to efficiently and quickly retrieve data Experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2008 R2 - 2014) Experience in writing SQL/T-SQL queries Experience in developing SSRS reports
