Job Description
Prepare farm for incoming parent stock. This includes pre-loading audits to ensure poultry houses are ready for incoming chicks.
Ensure brooding procedures are followed. This includes temperature settings, fan timing, chick activity and drinker/ feeder set-up. Monitor chick activity and well-being.
Evaluate and identify flock related problems. Recommend appropriate corrective action.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Veterinary or similar fields.
At least 10 years work experience in a Breeder or Grand Parent farm performing managerial duties.
Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Physical requirements: walking and standing for long periods of time. Occasionally lift and or move up to 20kg.
