Job Description
MIS-POS Technical Administrater - install and configure LAN / VPN operations and flow-charts. Program analysis and repair of POS server and cash registers. Networking with TCP/IP, DNS, DSL
Hardware repair and maintenance of all system hardware such as motherboards, hard drive, printers, hand-held scanners, UPS, hub, routers.
Set up network cables and power supply. Configuration, administration and maintenance of the local area network, hardware and IT services for the company.
Development and maintenance of back office systems for inventory control, purchasing and ordering, stock transfer, inventory management, rewards/points redemption program for customers.
Computer programming - knowledgeable in MS-DOS, UNIX operating system. Set-up and maintenance of anti-virus, firewalls and encryption to ensure protection from external threats.
Assigning and monitoring security access of all authorized users of the local network.
Network Administrator using SQL, HTML, VB scripting..
Training of company staff at all levels in the appropriate use of computers and POS.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Computer Science/Information technology; Engineering(Computer/Telecommunication) or similar fields.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in MIS-POS systems management.
Additional Information:
Food allowance of US100 per month No further deductions. 4 weeks paid leave after 12 months service in PNG with free return leave ticket to Manila. Working hours 800AM to 500PM , 6 days per week. Free accommodation, transport and health insurance
