The Role
As a Junior Portfolio Strategist, you are responsible for the investment strategies of the Wealth Managers. You are expected to drive a proper mix of products to maximize revenues and support overall sales & profitability targets.
How you'll contribute
Assists the Wealth Manager in crafting & preparing investment strategy for specific customers based on long-term goals & objectives and customer risk profile
Coaches & mentors Wealth Managers on market trends, product knowledge, portfolio allocation & rebalancing
Ensures that rebalancing & churning of investment holdings are in accordance with customer's long-term objectives and risk profile
Ensures that documentation of investment is complete before execution of a trade
Prepares daily market update to be sent to the Wealth Manager Team and conducts regular huddles and meetings with the Wealth Manager Team
What we're looking for
Bachelor Degree graduate in the fields of Business, Finance, Economics, Math or Statistics preferably with MBA or Master of Finance or Economics
Chartered Financial Analyst certification is a preference
Should have at least three years in the investments business (Trust, Treasury or Brokerage)
Must have mathematical and analytical capabilities
Should be detail-oriented and innovative
