Is currently looking for:
POLLUTION CONTROL & SAFETY OFFICER
ASSIGNMENT LOCATION : Zone Paliya, Paknaan, Mandaue City,Cebu
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a licensed engineer
Knowledgeable in chemical safety, occupational safety & health, and environmental laws
Has excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
Work experience and certification/accreditation as pollution control officer and/or safety practitioner is an advantage
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures compliance to all applicable environmental laws and occupational safety and health regulations that covers the operations of the company
Implements occupational safety and health programs in the workplace in accordance with the provisions of legal standards
Responsible for monitoring, preparation and compliance of reports and permits from government agencies such as DENR
Conducts training forum and toolbox talk, as needed, to provide instruction on specific Environmental, Safety and Health concern
Monitors PPE compliance and safety of warehouse personnel
Conducts inspections, determines hazards and recommends safety and health solutions
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
