POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER / SAFETY OFFICER
 
Qualifications:
College graduate preferably in an Engineering Course with 1 year minimum experience in related job; preferably in Pollution Control / Safety Officer in manufacturing/production set-up
Knowledge of local and international regulatory standards for environment and safety
At least two years of solid 5S and EHS implementation experiences
Working knowledge of international standards like ISO14001 and ISO 18001
Good oral and communication skills required in a working environment.
Systematic, organize, highly analytical and decisive
Aggressive, persistent, yet open-minded
Ability to supervise suppliers and service providers for health and safety
Manage project deadlines and task timelines;
Able to effectively coordinate with the various levels and various departments within the site
Able to effectively coordinate with customers and suppliers
Job Responsibilities:
Support EHS manager to establish the EHS system and maintain facility EHS Programs
Laws analysis of legal and other requirements associated with regulatory, local and other requirements
Monitor and follow EHS law and regulatory revisions and report to EHS manager for actions required
Submit and distributes required reports in compliance with regulatory agencies in order to ensure timely submittals
Assist EHS manager to arrange EHS trainings for personnel
Drive the Emergency Response Team
Act as Pollution Control Officer of the plant and follows duties and responsibilities
Performs required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the OSH Standards.
