Required Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Chemical Engineering or any Engineering course
With PCO training and previous related experience
Job Description: * Responsible for all pollution control matters and environmental concerns in coordination with Safety Officer.
Supervise/Monitor activities pertaining to the installation, operation and proper maintenance of pollution sources and control facilities of the above establishment/project;
Ensure compliance of the above establishment/project with the requirements of the EMB-DENR. As such, he/she should recommend to the installation and operation of additional device/facility and implementation of other measures for pollution abatement when necessary;
Promptly submit to the EMB-DENR the required environmental compliance and monitoring reports duly certified by authorized company representatives;
Immediately report to EMB-DENR the breakdown of any Pollution Control Facility as well as the establishment and actual date of completion of its repair and operation;
Update himself with the various EMB-DENR regulations and requirements as well as the latest technology on the prevention and control of pollution;
Attend meeting for Pollution Control Officers (PCOs) which may be called from time to time by the EMB-DENR and enhance coordination between and among PCOs in the region; and
To ensure the company's compliance to EMS requirements including the documentation and procedure maintenance of Pollution Control.
Handle other environmental concerns/matters as required by his/her employer.
