POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER/GMP OFFICER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Designs the Environmental Policies and Programs.
Conducts activities towards the attainment of the programs.
Evaluate and recommends to the HR/ADMIN Dept./Div. Head the progress of the programs.
Conducts environmental planning and goal setting.
Ensures that wastewater facility, boiler, and other related utilities comply with regulatory requirements.
Participates in Environmental Chain programs.
Manages the entire Environmental System and makes proposals to HR/ADMIN Dept./Div. Head on any improvement thereof.
Facilitates environmental training and related activities.
Performs other job-related duties assigned but not limited to the job description (such as preparing reports and other requirements to related government agencies).
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in organization/corporate planning.
Implements company policies in accordance with health and safety.
Interprets environmental audits, works with environmental consultants, and understands environmental, health, and safety issues in property purchases and sales.
Directs Environmental compliance programs related to hazardous wastes, air permitting, water pollution control, and community right-to-know programs.
Acts as Pollution Control Officer
Studies and make recommendations for improving Boiler operations and Waste Water treatment plant.
He is directly accountable for his own division.
Analyzes reports and data to be submitted to the VPO.
Perform other job-related duties required or assigned and not limited to the job description without overlapping with other duties.
SANITATION RESPONSIBILITIES AND OTHERS
Ensures that cGMP Policies are fully implemented in coordination with Sanitation and Pest Control Staff.
Sponsors cGMP training.
Attends regular meetings related to GMP
Takes charge of Pest Control and sanitation of SIGC and SFI Plants
Performs other job-related duties assigned.
