Description
Our client is a busy Podcast Production business. We are looking for an experienced person to work as a Podcast Editor/Audio Engineer to assist with the production, editing and general administration tasks. We want someone with "big ideas" who is creative and wants to push boundaries. You will be working with the Director of the business to create, edit and publish podcasts for the clients; so working closely them. You will be someone who can be an office "all-rounder"; so being able to help manage his shared calendar, answer emails and provide general office support is a must have.
The client uses Audacity and Adobe Audition; so experience with this is a must have.
Experience with Headliner, podcast.co, Descript and audio editing software would be an advantage; but not essential (these can be learnt easily).
JOB TYPE: Fulltime
LOCATION: This is a VA role where you work from home. Anywhere in the Philippines
Australia has the same time zone as the Philippines; no working odd hours!!
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with the recording, editing and general production of podcast media for clients
• Edit audio materials to ensure consistent quality standard and content flow
• Personal Assistant functions to the director: able to manage the directors diary, help with organization, reply to emails etc
• Research content, fact-check content for accuracy
• Assist with social media content, newsletters and email marketing
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience with audio production and editing
• Content research and drafting
• Software: Audacity, Adobe Audition, Headliner, Podcast.co, Descript and audio editing software, X.ai
• Solid spoken and written English skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Managing documents, applications and data entry
• Attention to detail, time management and multi tasking
• Ability to get to know the clients written and spoken style, their mannerism and be able to make decisions based on what the client would normally do.
