Job Description The POC Buyer is in-charge of Purchase Order (PO) creation, including setting-up and releases of Blanket Purchase Agreements after thorough review of open Requisitions in Oracle, raised/requested by the Site Users under a specific co Job Description The POC Buyer is in-charge of Purchase Order (PO) creation, including setting-up and releases of Blanket Purchase Agreements after thorough review of open Requisitions in Oracle, raised/requested by the Site Users under a specific commodity or group of commodities. The POC Buyer is expected to manage the PR queue and create/release the POs in the agreed cycle time within business hours, in accordance with the requirements or specifications. He/She is expected to liaise with the Site Buyers/Site Requester or Users for any questions, clarifications arising from the PR request. The POC Buyer is responsible for ensuring supply continuity confirm pricing and supplier commitments, updates of delivery dates, perform Order Acknowledgment and Delivery Follow-up, and making sure that the PO details in the system is updated. Further, POC Buyer will have to coordinate any PO issues, invoice and payment issues, and real time PO troubleshooting support to the various cross functional teams of onsemi. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Course graduate. With at least 2-5years work experience in Buying/Purchasing and/or Planning. Knowledge of Purchasing systems and processes is a plus - preferably with Oracle procurement background. Above average communication skillsinEnglish capability totake on a liaison role between the Site users/Corporate office, POC, and Site Procurement teams. Demonstrated analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Office Skills. Self-starter with personal motivation to succeed in a dynamic environment.
