Job Summary:
We are seeking plumber/handyman that will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks in the business's residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Addressing various repair needs.
Plumbing: Installing and assembling pipes, fittings, fixtures (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters) according to building codes and specifications.
Repairs and Maintenance: Diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and malfunctioning fixtures.
Clearing and maintaining drainage systems to ensure proper water flow and prevent blockages.
Conducting inspections to identify potential problems and recommend maintenance or repairs and Utilizing welding and soldering techniques to join pipes and fittings securely.
Carpentry: Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors and windows, and finishing work.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
Performs job that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Plumber/Carpenter or similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in plumbing techniques, tools, and materials.
Strong carpentry skills including framing, finishing, and general construction.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Properly using and maintaining plumbing tools and equipment to carry out tasks effectively.
Ability to prioritize safety and using proper safety gear and precautions while working.
Certification or license in plumbing or carpentry is a plus.
