Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced PLM Solution Architect to support a growing need within a team of professionals who support manufacturing clients with end-to-end solution offerings and professional services. The successful candidate will draw from experience in engineering design and product data management to develop business solutions implemented in PTC Windchill that streamline the client's product development process. The member will also evaluate future business needs and recommend additional capabilities and integrations to address those needs. Your future duties and responsibilities: . The member will work with clients to understand their product development processes including design control and change management, transition to manufacturing, quality management, then design the configuration of Windchill to best execute those processes. . The member will work with a team of offshore developers to create customizations that extend Windchill functionality tailored to specific client needs. . The member may also be responsible for the introduction of Windchill to new users including training and mentoring. . As the Windchill solution expert, the member will participate in the development of integrations with ERP systems. . As a PLM solution expert, the member will look at complimentary technology and solutions in the PLM landscape including the Thingworx IoT platform. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 3+ years of experience as a Windchill Solution Architect for Windchill 10.0 or higher . Working knowledge of engineering design configuration and change management processes. . Windchill Business Administration / 5 yrs / High . Windchill System Administration / 3 yrs / Medium . CAD - Solidworks or Creo / 1 yr / Medium Desired Qualifications . 2+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer or equivalent engineering field. . Ability to work independently and meet project time lines . Aptitude for problem solving and issue resolution. . Excellent oral and written communication skills presenting to technical users as well senior managers. Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field *Est.
