What you will do
Lead and drive Central Plating Sustaining improvements projects for cost, quality and productivity.
Lead owner of yield improvement related to Process Sustaining at Plating.
Primary lead in reducing product throughput lead time on over all Plating Sustaining processes. ( Deflash, Plating, PBO).
Lead in fan out of Machine ( tool) check activity under Process Sustaining group.
Drive standardization across site and participate in benchmarking and standardization between AT sites
Primary lead in resolution of Plating related customer complaints interfacing with cross functional teams.
Primary lead in investigation of escalated Plating line issues, OQA hits and internal OCAP.
Point person for Plating Sustaining Process on Customer Audits and internal Line Audits.
Point person for Plating Process Sustaining for buy-off of new equipment and or chemicals.
Primary lead in alignment of documentation of new work flows and revision to documents (i.e., Plating FMEA, Control Plan, Work I)
Point person for firewall fan out related to Plating Process (i.e. Machine check, Peel off Test)
Point person for Plating Lab and Plating replenishment activities improvement and automation.
Collaborates with Equipment Engineers, Central Engineering for PO spec creation of Plating machines.
Point person to promotes and ensures zero safety incidence at Plating area relative to sustaining activities.
Point person in supporting production output numbers through efficient Plating process flows.
Develops training program and skills development for Plating process Engineers.
What you will need
Proficient in chemistry, mechanical & chemical Plating process
Proficient in using statistical tools (Minitab, Statistics, etc)
Team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with cross-functional teams
Effective communicator between various levels of the organization
Good communication and reporting skills
Deep chemistry fundamentals
Project management skills
People handling skills
Leadership skills
