As a Platform Developer, your main responsibility is to assist with the full development life cycle of various application enhancements. You will develop applications; fix bugs, build internal processes, procedures, and methodologies; and work with development leads to ensure process is repeatable and efficient. To be successful, this role requires working closely with the product owners to develop cutting edge solutions in the logistics space.
Required Skills & Requirements
Graduate of a Bachelor's degree of 4 or 5 year course in Computer Science, Information Technology and its related field.
3-5 years of experience in C# Development / Java
Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) concepts
SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure
Strong in Agile SDLC principles with an emphasis on Quality & Standards based
development
Proven track record of success working with offshore testing teams
Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
Experience on ETL
Willing to be assigned in the EMEA shift which is 3:00pm - 12:00 mn, PH time.
Desired Skills
Some Knowledge on open source language (Python, Scala, Node) is a plus
Some Knowledge on database (PostGresSQL / Cassandra / Mongo DB / Elastic Search) is plus
Understanding of CI/CD and automation
