DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages all operations (Boiler, Reverse Osmosis plant and Steam Turbine) according to required parameters and safety measures.
Operate engines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment.
Observes boiler and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and makes repairs.
Performs calibration check in every equipment at the beginning of each work shift.
Records data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
Reads gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations.
Performs preventive and routine maintenance in coordination with Maintenance team.
Maintains record of everyday readings for all processing equipment and ensures optimal level of production.
Monitors and troubleshoots operating equipment.
Performs general housekeeping.
Observes gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Follows the company handbook and the Standard operations procedure.
Ensures compliance to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment requirements of the plant.
Ensures compliance to Company Policies, Mission, Vision, and Targets.
Performs other relevant tasks as may be assigned by the Superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma holder or higher.
Technical vocational course holder is an advantage.
At least one (1) year of experience in boiler or plant operation.
Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM) is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in boiler operation.
Work experience in a Manufacturing industry is an advantage.
NOTE : FREE SHUTTLE FROM AND TO THE PLANT.

Jacobi Carbons Philippines, Inc. was established in the first quarter of 2012 and was engaged in purchasing of coconut shell charcoal (CSC) from local farmers, granulated them to required sizes and prepared them for export to its affiliate companies in India, Vietnam and Sri Lanka after a thorough quality control process. At an average shipment volume of 700-1000 metric tons weekly, these were being used to manufacture Activated Carbon of the other affiliate locations.
In 2013, Jacobi Carbons AB, the parent company based in Kalmar, Sweden decided to put up another activated carbon manufacturing facility in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, Philippines. Thus, Jacobi Carbon Philippines, Inc. (JCX) was envisioned to e one of the world's largest coconut charcoal activated carbon manufacturing facility. With the capacity of 15,000 metric tons annually, JCX adopts novel technology in manufacturing , water re-use equipment and environmental pollution control measures. It employs modern rotary kilns and granulation equipment and highly efficient dust collector that captures all dust inside the production area during processing.
Jacobi Carbons Philippines, Inc. was registered as an Ecozone Export Enterprise with the Philippine Economic zone Authority (PEZA) and was granted the Certification for Start of Commercial Operation on August 1, 2015, It operates within a total land area of 4.8-hectares at Phividec Industrial Estate. The scope of its registered activity with PEZA is to engage in the production of normal and value-added activated carbon, charcoal for activation and granulated charcoal and importation raw materials, machinery and equipment used directly in its registered operations.
The first export shipment of manufactured activated carbon went out on August 20, 2015 to Aukland, California, USA. Since then JCX has been exporting its finished products to the world market, mainly to Europe.
The new plant facility was also officially inaugurated on September 22, 2015.
