Description
- Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
- Responsible for optimal RPC operations to ensure that budget and production targets are met. Continuous devise cost engineering without compromising value creation. Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards as per parameters.
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus on the company's overall growth.
- Supply chain management and cost control
- Planning and controlling of production plans and forecasts.
- Produce Regular and accurate Management Reports
- Daily reports (by phone and email) on the production results of the day, as well as any material issues that were encountered, with solutions and/or recommendations for approval of the Management Consultant.
- Weekly and monthly production reports to the Management
- Collect and analyzes data to find places of waste or overtime.
- Hires, trains, develops, and evaluates staff/subordinates. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensures compliance with national and local regulations. Consults with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
- Oversee the Production Department's conversion of rice husks into biomass fuel for internal consumption, while managing the sale of by-products to third parties.
- Ensure optimization of all machines throughout the production year. Ensure that all equipment of the RPC is in good working condition at all times. Provide timely and practical solutions to any technical problem tha may occur.
- Train and supervise the team for continuous maintenance of all equipment and plant facilities to minimize equipment breakdown. Establish and implement a system for stocking key/fast moving and/or critical spare parts.
MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS SUPPORT
- Ensure timely and optimal distribution of milled rice in coordination with the Management and the Sales Team.
- Assist the Management in preparing a detailed monthly and annual operating budget for the RPC.
- Support the Management in achieving Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 22000) accreditation, as well as in the implementation of these standards to cover all aspects of RPC operations.
- Support the Management in the development and implementation of a customized enterprise resource platform ("ERP") to integrate the entire supply and value chains of the business.
- Ensure that all subordinates are motivated and share the vision of the company. Promote harmonious relationships between all employees and management, in order to avoid disruptive incidents to the business.
SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY
- Observe proper housekeeping and proper waste disposal
- Ensure that all workers, both seasonal and regular employees of CYAI, on his/her shift are observing occupational safety rules and regulations set by the company which includes but is not limited to use of personal protective equipment and restricting the entrance of unauthorized personnel
- Perform all other duties assigned by the management team from time to time.
