Job Description
Rombe Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Chief Accountant with a background in food manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Pulilan, Bulacan. We are a leading player in the industry and are looking for a professional who can effectively oversee our financial operations, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all financial aspects of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to the management team
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information and transactions - Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls
• Mentor and inspire a skilled accounting team, fostering growth, guidance and knowledge-sharing
• Coordinate and manage the semi-annual and annual audit process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in food manufacturing finance.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification required
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Experience in managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP Systems and advanced MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
• Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
