Authorities & Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Scheduling
Develop detailed project schedules using software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and define activities, milestones, and deliverables.
Estimate the duration and sequence of construction tasks to ensure timely completion.
2. Monitoring and Progress Tracking
Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule.
Update schedules regularly to reflect current project status and changes.
3. Resource Allocation and Management
Determine resource requirements (labor, materials, equipment) for project activities.
Optimize the utilization of resources to meet project goals.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
4. Risk Management
Identify potential risks and delays in the project schedule.
Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Analyze the impact of design changes or unexpected events on the schedule.
5. Coordination and Communication
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align schedules with project objectives.
Attend project meetings and provide technical planning advice.
6. Cost and Budget Analysis
Link project schedules to cost estimates to monitor budget performance.
Track planned vs. actual costs and address discrepancies.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure schedules comply with client requirements, industry standards, and contract specifications.
Maintain proper documentation for claims, delays, and change orders.
Job Specification:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication and stakeholder management
Attention to detail and accuracy.
