The PLANNING ASSISTANT is expected to execute various reporting activities, giving summarized data to support Supply Chain Strategic Objectives in an effective, accurate, and timely manner.
About the Position
Fill Rate reporting. Own and gather the needed data for the group to collectively evaluate our fill rate performance to end customers.
Inventory Turns reporting. Give summarized analysis of inventory turns by category and location and provide and additional trend analysis required.
Participate in the creation/maintenance of an effective and appropriate documentation of any reporting process steps deemed necessary to support the function.
Identify, and bring to resolution any reporting deficiencies and inaccuracies.
Control and manage the time required to administer all assigned metrics and their reporting.
Develop and maintain planning master data within SAP such as: Safety stock, forecast consumption, lead times, lot sizes, planning time fences, etc.
Monitor any proposed resolutions to improve any Strategic performance initiatives.
Investigate root cause to fill rate failures and ensure appropriate corrective action are initiated and track solutions are executed on schedule.
Inform the appropriate individuals of any issues that come to your attention throughout the analysis process.
Standardize processes and measurements across all planning teams and all plants.
About You
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree
Experience in Excel, Powerpoint, and Access Database preferred
Navigation experience within SAP R/3
