We are seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented Planning Analyst to join our Wholesale Demand Planning team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the success of retail partnerships by maintaining full inventory visibility and optimizing product flow across retail stores, warehouses, and vendor networks.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing tools that track real-time sales and inventory data at the store level. These tools will support proactive replenishment and help drive sales efficiency. The analyst will convert raw data into actionable insights that directly support supply chain, planning, and sales strategies-ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.Key Areas of Accountability:Daily Inventory Tool Management
Own and maintain a store-level inventory tool that reconciles projected inventory against actual sales and stock levels across retail stores, warehouses, and vendor sites.
End-to-End Inventory Visibility
Deliver a complete view of inventory across all supply chain nodes-including retail locations, warehouses, and third-party facilities-to enable fast, data-driven decisions.
Sales Trend Analysis & Reporting
Track SKU-level and store-level performance.
Flag when sales exceed projections and share key insights with internal teams.
Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly recap reports to guide planning decisions.
Inventory Replenishment & Order Communication
Quantify store-level inventory needs and initiate transfer orders.
Maintain cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless product flow.
Forecast Optimization
Analyze historical sales and real-time data to enhance forecast accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management teams to refine assortments, adjust size curves, and improve regional allocation strategies.
Data-Driven Decision Support
Translate high-volume datasets into clear, actionable executive insights.
Deliver concise reporting to aid confident, rapid decision-making by leadership.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or retail/wholesale operations
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, multi-tab models)
Proven ability to work with large datasets and turn them into clear, actionable recommendations
Experience handling purchase orders (POs), transfer orders (TOs), and inventory management systems
Strong communication and storytelling skills in cross-functional settings
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with planning or BI tools (e.g., Looker) is a plus
