Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning and ordering of direct materials (Lead frames, gold wire, epoxy, molding compound and packing materials) in support of assembly and final test operational needs
Planning and placement of direct materials orders to suppliers
Formulates systems and procedures for planning and ordering of piece parts and packing materials
Interacts with OSPI operations, supply management, finance, production control, capacity planning, shipping, business units and suppliers
Monitors capacity, production plan for direct materials requirements and delivery
Coordinate requirements to engineering, production and business units for new product qualifications
Ensures availability of materials requirements
Controls inventory movements and analyze inventory trend
Analyze direct materials material savings
Generate and maintain periodic reports and upload in planning website for management use
Proactively identify exceptions and resolve problems that are anticipated to affect on-time delivery to the customer order
Qualifications
Requirements:
Graduate of BS Degree in Engineering
With 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/semiconductor or electronics industry
Supervisory experience is an advantage
Knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing set-up and processes
General knowledge of the demand planning, production control systems, and procedures
Knowledge of basic computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Knowledge of quality improvement and team tools: Gantt chart, Pareto, fishbone diagram, brainstorming, etc.
Assertive and customer service oriented
With Above average communication and negotiation skills
With good analytical and problem-solving skills
