Job Description
Knowledge of MIG/TIG and MMA welding processes, operational knowledge of hand and power tools.
Experience of performing construction and repair operations of ship components, operation of cutting tools including cutting torch in a safe manner.
Welding heavy steel parts within the maritime environment and developing work instructions to meet production needs.
Ability to air arc, pre and post heat treatments would be an advantage.
Skilled in welding carbon, stainless steel, conifer and duplex pipes would be an advantage.
Ability to interpret drawings, ability to weld wire feed and stick in all positions.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
TIG or TIG/SMAW welding experience.
Capable of positional welding minimum 6G.
Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and interpret work instructions.
Additional Information:
Willing to take the IELTS Language Certificate requirement for UK Visa process.
