PHYSICO-CHEMICAL ANALYST
 
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Fresh Graduates Professional At least 1 year(s) of experience Analyst in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing and Dairy Manufacturing.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Technicians, BS Food Technology or any Food Science-allied courses
COMPETENCY PROFILE:
Knows how to navigate basic Microsoft Office software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Licensed Chemist or Licensed Chem. Technician is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Warehousing Practices, and Good Laboratory Practices
Knowledgeable in Physicochemical Tests.
Has the ability to write technical reports
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs evaluation and/or assessment of results before, during and after tests.
Checks and reviews results of analysis to ensure consistency to specifications.
Works closely with QC Inspectors and QA Supervisors regarding the analysis results of in-line samples and finished goods.
Promptly reports and feedback on any deviation encountered in the test and analysis.
Ensures systematic workflow by proper timing of assigned laboratory tests in order of priority.
Ensures timely delivery of test results.
Ensures complete and updated record of all test results and necessary documents.
Ensures all samples tested are retained according to the assigned retention frequency.
Ensures proper usage, monitoring, cleanliness, and proper storage of all laboratory reagents, instruments and equipment.
Ensures adequate amount of laboratory supplies. Prepares and submits requisition to QA Supervisor for stock replenishment to ensure timely delivery and to avoid delay in testing
Ensures calibration, preventive, and corrective maintenance of all laboratory instruments and equipment are updated and/or performed. Evaluate erroneous outcomes and act on them immediately.
Participate in investigations of out-of-specification samples or products with deviation and failures.
Maintains laboratory in accordance with standards for housekeeping, health, safety, security and environmental protection.
Assist Supervisor in assessing and procuring new laboratory equipment, troubleshooting, cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
Performs other related functions/duties or as the situation dictates.
