PRC AND GRADUATE AS Physical Therapy
Plan and implement physical therapy program for neuromusculoskeletal patients, as prescribed by physician, including posture, gait, range of motion, muscle testing, sensory testing, specific extremity and spinal segmental motion, biomechanical analys
Administer appropriate physical agents and modalities given physicians' protocols, patients' medical histories, and therapists' knowledge of indications and contraindications, including electrotherapy, heat/cold therapy, hydrotherapy and sound energy
Direct and aid patient in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and gait and functional training utilizing pulleys and weights, steps, stability ball, and inclined surfaces.
Perform manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization, extremity and joint mobilization, medical exercise therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques, and trigger point therapy.
Perform therapeutic exercise, with or without equipment.
Adapt conventional Physical Therapy techniques to meet the needs of patients unable to comprehend verbal commands or voluntarily carry out a regime of therapeutic exercises.
Provided comprehensive training in Physical Therapy techniques to patients' family members.
Documented patients' progress and completed discharge summaries, home-program treatment plans, short and long term goals, ensured all documentation was clear, concise, timely, accurate and complete.
Re-evaluate and adjusts plan of care as appropriate for the patients' condition.
Share new information with staff on treatment techniques through in service teaching and timely verbal communication.
Determines and develops patient's ability to be independent and re-integrates into the community after injury or illness.
Conducts seminars and community education on certain health issues concerning the community's health and safety.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
