Job Summary:
 
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Backend Developer with expertise in Laravel and a strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD). As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. Your primary focus will be on delivering clean, efficient, and testable code using Laravel framework and following TDD practices. If you are passionate about Laravel development and have experience with TDD, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative projects.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Laravel framework.
Implement features and functionalities in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
Write clean, well-structured, and testable code following Laravel coding standards and best practices.
Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to ensure high-quality and reliable software.
Create and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for backend components.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend code to identify and resolve issues.
Optimize database queries and manage efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate backend systems with user interfaces.
Stay updated with Laravel framework updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
Contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Backend Developer, specializing in Laravel development.
Strong understanding of server-side technologies, APIs, and web architectures.
Solid understanding and practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to facilitate effective collaboration with front-end developers.
Experience with other testing frameworks, such as PHPUnit or Behat.
Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices.
Understanding of performance optimization techniques.
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of caching mechanisms, such as Redis or Memcached.
Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
Working Schedule:
Monday - Friday From (9:30am - 6:30pm)
Return To Office Transition (Alternate On-Site and WFH Set-Up)
