In partnership with our client, MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a PHP Developer who will be working for our client who is a market leader in ownership and operation of motorcycle dealerships and retail accessories outlets engaging in the sale of new motorcycles, used motorcycles, accessories and parts, finance, insurance, and warranty as well as service and repair with centers in Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Converting existing development repository from Bitbucket to MS DevOps.
• Anonymizing database so that it can be developed by external team without exposing sensitive customer data.
• Development of custom Intranet to meet business requirements. Infrastructure to be largely managed by IT staff in Australia.
• Working with IT staff in Australia to determine future requirements for migrating and hosting service in Azure.
• Training and managing additional development staff in MVP when required
To be qualified, you should be:
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any relevant course.
• PHP 7 & MySQL in a Unix environment
• Working with codebase in Git
• Building out data ETL processes using flat file CSV and/or REST API
• Familiar with HTML, CSS and templating (Blade) and front-end JavaScript
• Experience with Composer and knowledge of PSR-4 highly desirable
• Commercial experience working on an application processing and storing large quantities of data
• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies in a fast-moving team
• Highly desirable:
o Leading a development team
o Magento 2 experience
o Microsoft SQL
o Microsoft Power BI or Magento BI
o Powershell
o Python
o Managing infrastructure in Azure
