Description
The personnel handling the position shall be responsible in correct and accurate dispensing of medicines and other pharmaceutical supplies to different department. Specifically the employee will take the following responsibility;
1. Fills and dispense drugs to in-patients and out-patients ordered and prescribed by licensed physician
2. Monitors supplies and medicines, manufacturing and expiration date
3. Establish control measures in proper segregation of medicines and other supplies in the department including correct tagging and storage
4. Monitor hospital management system (Bizbox 8) for ordered items from different departments
5. Accurately dispense orders from other units following standard procedures set by the hospital
6. Maintain a record of drugs and other supplies issued from the CSR and post stocks sold every shift to the hospital management system
7. Report to the Chief Pharmacist any incident of losses and/or breakage of medicines and supplies including but not limited to vials, ampoules, IV fluid etc.
8. Assist the Chief Pharmacists on drug inventory control system
9. Serves ad cahier after business hour
10. Performs other related tasks which may be assigned
