Our services are continually evolving, which include same-day delivery, a telephone health line, and an online prescription option.JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant
to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Your daily tasks will include assisting with prescription processing, inventory management, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Handle and manage prescription orders, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
Maintain an organized and clean pharmacy area, including shelving, storage, and workstations.
Manage inventory by ordering and restocking medications, supplies, and OTC products.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
Perform data entry and maintain patient records.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies.
Support pharmacy staff in day-to-day operations as needed.
Pack online orders for the PharmacyJOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pharmacy Assistant certification is a plus but not required.
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and their uses is an asset.
Willing to be assigned to different branches as needed.
A strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
