Pharmacy Assistant (Retail):

Reports to: Officer-In-charge or Store Pharmacist

Introduction: In Hestia, the Pharmacy department plays a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and support to our customers. Within the Pharmacy team, we are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join us. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will work closely with the Store Pharmacist and other team members to assist customers and ensure a smooth operation in our retail pharmacies.
Job Summary: As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Store Pharmacist by assisting in her in dispensing medicine, managing inventory including restocking medications and supplies, and providing administrative support such as handling reports and sending emails. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will contribute to an exceptional and efficient experience for our customers.
Main Responsibilities & Duties:
Assist the pharmacist in prescription processing and labeling
Manage inventory, including restocking medications and supplies
Provide administrative support, such as emails and reports for the store
Assist customers with non-prescription product inquiries and sales
Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures and regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
·High school diploma or equivalent
·Proven experience in assisting store pharmacists
·NCIII certificate holder
·Strong cashier experience
· Basic math and computer skills
· High level of energy with strong customer service skills
·Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
· Knowledgeable in stock inventory
· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
·Excellent communication skills
· Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service
· Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints
