Legal Document Drafting - Ability to create and prepare demand letters, legal correspondence, and case summaries accurately.
Case File Management - Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed and up-to-date digital case files.
Medical Record Review - Competence in analyzing and summarizing medical records and bills.
Client Communication - Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for client interaction and updates.
Knowledge of Legal Software - Proficiency in legal practice management tools such as Clio, Filevine, or SmartAdvocate.
Nice to have:
Paralegal certification or a degree in paralegal studies
Familiarity with HIPAA and medical privacy regulations
What will you do?
Draft and prepare legal documents, including demand letters and case summaries.
Collect, review, and organize medical records and billing statements.
Prepare medical chronologies and treatment summaries for attorney review.
Maintain proactive communication with clients to gather information and provide updates.
Coordinate with medical providers, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters.
Conduct discovery and research related to medical providers and accident details.
Keep detailed and accurate digital case files.
Review outgoing correspondence for accuracy, tone, and professionalism.
