We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to fill the role of Personal/Family Driver for our household. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for the family members and assisting with various errands and tasks. Responsibilities:
Typical assignment involves driving family members to various destinations, such as work, school, appointments, events, or recreational activities.
Safely transport family members to and from their destinations in a timely manner.
Ensure that the car is clean at all times by washing both its inside and outside parts.
Carry out routine inspection and maintenance on the vehicle, including checking the tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels to ensure that it is always in good condition.
Report any mechanical issues or schedule repairs as needed.
Identify electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder smooth working of the car and carry out minor repairs and maintenance where necessary.
Consider different routes, check climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times while interacting with family members and guests.
Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and avoid traffic congestion.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fueling, oil changes, and tire checks.
Communicate effectively with family members regarding schedules and any changes in plans.
Assist with various tasks or errands as requested by the family, such as grocery shopping, running errands, or accompanying family members to appointments or events.
Familiarize oneself with local roads, traffic patterns, and alternate routes.
Carry out some modest office undertakings like organizing records and cleaning the family's mini office.
Carry out other assignments that may be given by the employer.
Qualifications:
A Professional Driver's License with restriction code of at least A, A1, B, B1, B2 with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a personal or family driver.
Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
Excellent driving skills and a responsible attitude towards safety.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsiveness and adaptability to the clients' needs
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying packages.
Flexibility with working hours (May be required to work at evenings, during weekends, or occasionally travel with the family members for extended periods.)
