SUMMARY OF ROLE
Maxeon is seeking for a PEE Technician to support engineering projects and performs preliminary failure analysis on line issues. The PEE Technician reports to the PEE Engineer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for his safety and that of his/her co-workers by making sure that all sustaining works are done in a safe manner using the right tools and PPE's.
-Co-owns Yield, MTTR, MTBA and Availability in his area of responsibility.
-Engages with appointed assignments (e.g. projects, automation support, support in new product in development) using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
-Ensures that machine problems are attended promptly and that the tool will be repaired in the safest but quickest possible time.
-Reacts, investigates and solves process-related failure and yield concerns. Dispositions OCAP
-Supporting the Manufacturing by ensuring the equipment is operating at premium levels.
-Improvement
and implementation of suitable solutions and support the improvement of the process.
-Perform maintenance on all manufacturing equipment
-Escalates problems that require attention from his/her supervisor.
-Escalate to his / her if there are issue on spare parts and tools.
-Follows directions and instructions needed to meet yield set by company
-Provides useful information to SPML Dbase Tools on issues related to machine or process. (e.g. MES,EMMS, PMMS.etc)
-Responsible for the general upkeep (cleanliness, wire harnessing, etc.) of the equipment assigned to him/her.
-In charge of his career development and makes the necessary arrangement with his supervisor for his training needs to meet job expectations.
-Supports plant goals and objectives on key items like production outs, cost, and quality.
-Ensures that the machine will be running according to defined equipment and process parameters.
-Prepares shift reports related to his area of responsibility.
-Suggests or initiates projects that will improve safety, equipment, yield and quality performance.
-Responsible for being certified on all machines and processes within his area.
-Trains and acts as buddy of new technician in his area of responsibility.
-Works overtime during situations where a job needs to be finished on time.
-Does other jobs or tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations
-Performs other duties may be assigned
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
-Graduate of Vocational/Technical graduate
-With at least 5 years' experience as Process or Equipment Technician.
-Computer literate.
-With good presentation skills.
-With strong
communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
-Technical knowledge in specific process/tool.
-Knowledge and experience in SPML Engineering and SPC tools (FMEA, Tool Lockdown)
-English proficiency both written and verbal.
