Brief Job Description:
The Senior PCB Design/Layout Engineer is responsible for the Layout and Design of PCBs used for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Customer Evaluation and Engineering boards; Practice PCB DFM, DFA and best design practices and Apply board level simulation. He/She will be under the PCB Development Group.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
With in-depth experience in PCB design i.e. schematic, layout, or simulation.
At least 5 years of experience in PCB Design/Layout field
Knowledgeable in basic electronics, circuit analysis, transmission line principles and signal integrity
Knowledgeable in circuit and layout simulation (Signal Integrity and Power Integrity) as well as simulation tools and analysis is an advantage
Deep knowledge in PCB CAD Tools operation; knowledge in Cadence CAD tools (Concept and Allegro) and Cadence Constraints Manager is an advantage
Knowledge in PCB Fabrication and Assembly process
Familiarity of PCB DFM and DFA standards is an advantage
Knowledge on IPC standards is an advantage
Professional, matured and team player; can handle self and work under pressure
