About The Role:
The PBCS Analyst serves as the primary support person and subject matter expert for the Sterling PBCS environment.
This Is What You'll Do:
Maintenance/tracking of hierarchy/system updates, regular database maintenance, validation and reconciliation, system security, backups and recovery, and troubleshooting system issues.
Perform month-end closing tasks, including updating substitution variables and external data loads of statistical information
Prepare forecast, budget, and constant currency scenarios
Perform quarterly change control and security audit
Analyze the application needs of users and formulate solutions to meet those needs
Execute set up and provide ongoing training for Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud System and Smartview add-in for application's user base
Develop and enhance standard reports
Validate metadata changes in PBCS including adding new GL accounts, new departments, etc., etc.
Perform ad hoc requests for data as needed
Create and maintain system documentation
This Is What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3-4 years experience with NetSuite and Oracle PBCS application administration
Understanding of financial reporting and consolidations, accounting databases and information systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
High level of attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
