Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate preparation and prompt payment of employees' salary and the preparation of the necessary reports.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
These tasks are subject to change depending on the nature of service of the division/department or business direction.
· Plans and organizes relevant activities and schedules to ensure efficient delivery of service in the department and ensures to meet the expectations of internal clients. Sample tasks may be, but not limited to:
§ Maintains the effective and efficient execution of his/her tasks and responsibilities by ensuring consistent compliance with existing protocols, guidelines, processes, procedures, standards, etc. of the division, department, unit, and hospital.
§ Payroll management;
§ Government regulatory compliance;
§ Documentation and reconciliation of payroll accounts.
· May be assigned in a project that aims to improve some specific areas of Payroll & General Accounting either working independently or with a cross-functional. May be tasked to make necessary recommendations on performance of team members or cross-functional team member/s.
§ Provides analyses on processes, policies and procedures based on research or gathered data.
§ Participates in the creation of or recommends updates and changes in the policies and procedures to continuously improve the quality of service in the unit/area.
· Involves in the planning and execution of his/her professional development in collaboration with the immediate superior; monitors progress and completion of trainings required to establish his/her career or set for the next likely role.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduate of any four year course, with knowledge in Accounting or payroll preparation.
2. At least 1-2 years work experience as Payroll Clerk or as Accounting Clerk.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office application.
5. Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
6. Can work with minimum supervision.
7. Good English communication skills, both oral and written. Can communicate in the Visayan and/or Tagalog dialect/s.
8. Must commit to maintain patient & financial confidentiality at all times.
