PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Job Description:
☑️ Collecting daily, weekly, and monthly employee timesheets
☑️ Calculating employee work hours
☑️ Manage to onboard and off-boarding of employees
☑️ Uses quality monitoring data management system to compile and track performance at team and Individual level
☑️ Entering new employee data into the company database
☑️ Work hand in hand with the HR Manager to collect the data necessary for the performance management and improvement systems and programs to be implemented by the HR Department.
☑️ Participate in the implementation of regulatory compliance and reporting
☑️ Contribute in policy development and documentation
☑️ Act in programs for employee relationship management
☑️ Contribute to the development and smooth flow of company-employee communication
☑️ Adhere and assist in facilitating programs for employee safety, welfare, and wellness education
☑️ Monitor formats and quality standards
☑️ Responding to employee questions about compensation, benefits, and deductions
☑️ Distributing payment statements
☑️ Participates in meetings with top level executives
☑️ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification:
✔️ Has completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Management, Business Administration, Financial Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent course
✔️ Has at least 1 year experience as Payroll Accountant
✔️ Has high level of integrity
✔️ Has excellent communication and organizational skills
✔️ Can work with minimal supervision
✔️ Solid time management skills
✔️ Must be able to effectively deal with people at all levels
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔️ Creative ability & writing proficiency
✔️ Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast paced, team environment
✔️ Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
✔️ Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (intermediate Word, basic Excel)
✔️ Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
✔️ Detail-oriented
✔️ Familiarity with Labor Laws
✔️ Ability to handle confidential information
✔️ Has an experience processing at least 80 to 100 employee salaries
Equipment:
Hardware: Laptop/Desktop
Headset: headset with noise-cancelling feature
Connectivity: Minimum of 10 Mbps
Software: Microsoft Office & PDF reader, Anydesk, Gdrive, Skype
