Job Specific
• Minimum 2 years experience with an Australian client in a similar role.
Setup of new employees in the system (ensuring all relevant paperwork is in place)
• Maintain employee files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Maintenance of payroll and employee's data including masterfile changes, EBA changes & rate increases.
• Processing the payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate payroll transactions and payments.
• Preparation and timely delivery of payslips.
• Resolving payroll queries in a timely manner.
• Manage leave entitlements and payments.
• Process Termination Pays in accordance with End of Employment Requests.
• Maintaining Superannuation Clearing House for employees.
• Continuously drive process improvements.
• Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with statutory changes and ensure payroll compliance with legislation.
• Ensure payroll system is up to date with changes in legislation.
• Comply with relevant awards across the business.
Skills and Attributes
• Comprehensive understanding of Industry Modern Awards.
• Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations, and legislation.
• Deadline focused.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to investigate issues and find solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Advanced computer skills including, Mircosoft Excel and Word.
