Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing both the US & UK Payroll Operations which have newly transitioned to Manila this year. This individual will have 2 direct reports; the supervisor of the UK Payroll Operations and the supervisor of the US Payroll Operations.
Utilising their strong UK & US payroll experience we expect this individual to oversee payroll cycles being processed on time and accurately (fortnightly for US and monthly for UK), ensure our relationships with our payroll system provider and other 3rd parties are managed appropriately and ensure we engage effectively with our internal stakeholders to successfully drive towards our objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Must has atleast 5 years of experience processing full cycle payroll particularly UK & US payroll
Miniimum 5 years of managerial experience
Proven ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and focus
Experience working with SoX controls and compliance requirements
At least 5 years of experience handling end-to-end payroll processing for UK and US (calculation of salary, allowances, incentives, taxation, executives etc.)
Must have experience in transformation, transition, continuous improvement
Must have experience in Geos Audit, Compliance, and SOX
Must have experience using ADP
Must have processed more than 20,000 FTEs in payroll
Must have processed many L2 or L3 employees with complex compensation elements (divisional CEOs/EVPs/VPs), executive payroll
Experience applying financial controls and standards
Experience reconciling data to report totals
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and MS office skills
Strong experience using payroll software
Very good written and verbal communication skills
