PAYROLL IN-CHARGE
 
Responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring all employee are paid accurately and on time. Make timely report for registration, payment of contributions and loan applications of monthly statutory benefits (SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth). Provides assistance in government and company benefits administration from enrollment to exclusion.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the payroll process, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.
Collects timekeeping information from the system before and during cut-off period.
Coordinated to department heads and team lead to resolve questionable entries.
Computes for overtime rendered and deductions.
Maintains confidentiality of employee's salary at all times.
Prepares monthly government remittances with accuracy.
Submits to Accounts Payable in-charge for check preparation if non-online transaction.
Prepares HDMF remittances/loan contribution every 2nd week.
Prepares PHIC remittances every 3rd week.
Prepares SSS remittances/loan contribution every 4th week.
Facilitates the process and release of government mandated benefits such as loans, sickness and maternity benefits.
Handles employee's Sinking Fund contribution which includes preparation, reconciliation, monitoring of summary and collection.
Prepares 1601-C data for BIR remittance every 1st week of the month
Maintains accurate historical records
Creates and monitors a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of payroll transaction.
Ensures that compensation guidelines, manuals and practices are in compliance with current laws and regulation
Prepares any other accounting reports as required by the management.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Ensures that there is a process back-up in place for every critical operation.
Escalates proactively developing issues in the operations to the immediate superior.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or any related field.
1 - 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Experience with payroll software and accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
