Payroll and HR Admin Support
Job Description:
Management and processing of full end to end payroll including the resolution of all employee queries for 400+ employees.
Processing leave requests and overtime/allowances calculations, and generation of payroll journal & calculation of leave accruals
Reconciliation and lodgment of all payroll related statutory payments, such as PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax, Work Cover
Advise management on payroll related matters including updates for payroll legislation and payroll/taxation queries and scenarios.
Assist Finance Team with general ledger reconciliation & payroll related balance sheet accruals as well as data entry as required.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, employee promotions, change in employee conditions, probation, and terminations ensuring that all details are kept up to date.
Maintain HR and employee records, files, registers and databases, as well as HR forms and templates.
Creation of employment contracts and supplement documents as well as contribute to the development and review of HR Policies and Procedures
Coordinate induction and mandatory training and ensure employee training records are maintained.
Assist HR Manager with WHS requirements including Worker's Compensation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Administration, or any related field.
2 years or more experience with Australian Payroll
Experience with HR admin tasks or willing to learn HR tasks
Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
Intermediate computer skills in all Microsoft Office products
Previous experience in Wage Easy/ Access payroll system would be advantageous, however not a strict requirement.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment and interacting with multiple departments
Self-starter and fast learner with proven ability to work independently or within a team environment
